> **[Anders (Hohlbein)](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_(Hohlbein))**
>

Certainly! It sounds like you’re interested in fantasy books featuring anthropomorphic animals. Here are some recommendations that fit your criteria:

1. **„The Wind in the Willows“** by Kenneth Grahame: A classic novel where animals take on human-like qualities and embark on adventures in the English countryside⁵.
2. **„The Wolves of Time“** by William Horwood: This series involves real animal fantasy, prophecies, and magical powers. The protagonists are wolves, and the books delve into darker themes¹.
3. **„His Dark Materials“** trilogy by Philip Pullman (including „The Golden Compass,“ „The Subtle Knife,“ and „The Amber Spyglass“): Although technically not anthropomorphic animals, daemons (manifestations of souls) take animal forms in this captivating series. The books tackle sophisticated themes and are suitable for both young and adult readers¹.
4. **„The Builders“** by Daniel Polansky: A gritty tale featuring anthropomorphic animals, perfect for those who enjoy darker themes¹.
5. **„The Mouse Guard“** series of graphic novels by David Petersen: These gorgeous books follow a group of mice and inspired a tabletop RPG. They’re worth checking out if you appreciate mouse-themed adventures¹.
6. **„The One and Only Ivan“** by Katherine Applegate: Although not from the '90s, this heartwarming tale features anthropomorphic animals who think, feel, and communicate like humans. It’s a captivating read for all ages³.

Feel free to explore these options, and I hope you find the perfect fantasy series with anthropomorphic animals! 📚🐾

Also hier mal meine Erinnerungen.
